It isn't Seasons Greetings or Happy Holidays . . .
The Driphter Family wishes you and your family a Blessed Christmas and Happy New Year!
I know this has become the commercial holiday season of giving, but take a minute to celebrate the real meaning of Christmas!
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. - Isaiah 9:6 King James Version (KJV)
It was through the birth of Christ that we have reason to celebrate Christmas, and without the ultimate sacrifice that Christ made for our sin, there would be no reconciliation between man and God. It is through Christ that we are forgiven for our sin, and through him that we receive salvation.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16 King James Version (KJV)
I am no better than you and you no better than me. In my mind we are equals . . . "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" [Romans 3:23 KJV], but make this Christmas the best yet and accept the BEST gift one could ask for! Accept Christ as your savior and receive the gift of salvation.
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of
God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our
Lord - Romans 6:23 (KJV)
It is our belief, our faith in Christ, that not only gives the Christmas Season meaning, but more importantly redeems us of our sin, washes our heart clean as snow, and provides us an eternity in heaven.
Whether you have been part of the driphter community for a day, a month, a year, or since the beginning . . . you know I tell it like it is. You know that I am passionate about this community and what we stand for: Helping, Learning, Sharing. I've done my best to make this place a safe haven for everyone from the tech savvy to the tech impaired, and it has been my gift to you. As a friend, I ask you take an introspective look at your heart and your life this Christmas Season.
If any of what I have shared resonates within you know this:
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. - Romans 10:9-10 (KJV)
My love for this community is bigger than you can know! We are only here for a short time. Driphter.com, me, you, your loved ones . . . we are here today, but we could be gone tomorrow. Don't take today for granted! Take a minute to accept Christ as your Savior this holiday season!
Merry Christmas,
Geoffrey
