[REVIEW] ZAGG invisibleSHIELD for the Lenovo K1 Tablet
« on: February 10, 2012, 11:34:25 AM »

We received a nice little package from ZAGG a few days ago. They were kind enough to send us an invisibleSHIELD to review for the Lenovo K1 Tablet!

With our tablet being a family device, it gets passed around and handled quite a bit. With a 4 year old (who runs it better than a lot of adults) in the mix, we're sure to put the invisibleSHIELD through its paces.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

Since this is the Full Body version, we get pretty fair coverage. We get a screen protector, back cover protector and 3 pieces to cover the aluminum on the back. They also include very detailed instructions with some installation tips, more than enough Application Solution to get the job done, a very nice rubber squeegee and a large cloth for keeping your screen and device clean both before and after installation.

HOW DIFFICULT IS THE INSTALL?

The install is very simple. Just follow the directions and you'll be extremely pleased with the results. Because of the solution they provide, you don't have to have a super steady hand to install these. The solution allows you to get the different protectors pretty close to where you need it, then slide it and adjust it until it's just right. From there, use the provided squeegee to push out any air bubbles and let it dry.

HOW'S THE QUALITY?

Top Notch. When you're peeling the pieces off of their paper backing you can really feel how tough and durable this stuff is.  It's not like other protectors that are a sticky piece of plastic.  Once you get it settled into place on your device, the quality really shines. Adding a bit of grip to the device's surfaces, it's easier to keep a hold of it.

HOW DOES IT LOOK?

The invisibleSHIELD is nearly invisible. It really is difficult to notice that anything is on the screen or body of the device until you touch it. The tiny dimples that are part of the Nano-Memory technology are hardly visible at all and actually help with the finger print smudges we all hate. You will find yourself cleaning and wiping your device less since it stays cleaner, longer.

WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Overall, I was very impressed with the ZAGG invisibleSHIELD and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to a full bodied case.  The invisibleSHIELD provides you extremely good coverage without adding the bulk of a hard or even a silicone case.

ZAGG's products are very nice, I was fortunate to win one for my Bold, although I thought the installation was abit tedious. I have to say that it did it's job and protected my BB to the max. I eventually removed it because I like the feel of a naked device. I'm sure with the tablet it will do it's job even with the roughest hands on use.

Thanks for the review and look forward to future reports on how well it held up for you

So far so good. Maybe with a larger device the install is easier since all the pieces are larger. So far so good with the invisibleSHIELD, I'm really impressed.
