Review: The Charging Vault from Seidio
« on: February 16, 2012, 11:48:45 AM »

Another sweet accessory to have in your arsenal is the Charging Vault by Seidio. I have one of these and have read some negative feedback as well as some positive. I must say I was a bit skeptical myself when I received it.

Thoughts were running through my head wondering how long the charge would last, would it really be there when my battery was gone and no way to charge it. Well below you will see the device and some of the answers I came up with.

I was quick to plug this baby in and let it charge checking the row of blue lights as it was plugged into the wall outlet. Once it was charged up I used my USB cable and plugged my BlackBerry in and yes it started charging my device. I was thinking this is going to be handy because it has two ports and I could charge my wife's BlackBerry at the same time.

I unplugged my BlackBerry and set it on the desk thinking that sooner or later I would find myself in a place where I could not charge my device. Low and behold I just forgot about it, partly because I am retired and mostly because I'm old.

Quite some time later, I'm talking a few weeks my grandson came to stay with us for the weekend, I have him on my phone plan, but he forgot his charger so he usually comes upstairs and snags my wall charger. It was running late and I though wait a minute I have something to try. Yes you guessed it I remembered the Vault.

I was sure that it couldn't still be charged up, but we gave it a try and to my surprise it charged his phone completely without being plugged in. So that was the answer to Chase's charging when at Grandpa's.

The device is very compact and can easily fit into your pocket if need be, and for you heavy users on the go, it can be very handy to sport one of Seidio's Charging Vaults.
